New Executive Leaders

Novacomp, a 100% Costa Rican IT Outsourcing & Nearshoring company that offers information technology services for digital transformation and agile projects, announces its is strengthening its Finance, Operations and Sales Leadership. The developments reflect the company’s expansion process, which announced last Friday with the opening of 110 vacant positions for its operations.

RAMÓN PEREIRA
New Corporate Financial Director

Juan Ramón Pereira Juan Ramón Pereira

Juan Ramón Pereira joined Novacomp as the Corporate Financial Director and will be responsible for the financial management for the Group, including operations in other countries. He will also be responsible for organizing the Finance Department, to occupy a leading role in the company's growth plans for the coming years, guiding decision-making based on real-time data information. The following teams will report to him directly: Finance, Treasury, Payroll, Accounting, Billing and Collections.

Juan Ramón is a senior executive with more than 16 years of experience in the Finance and Accounting areas, holding positions such as Chief Financial Officer and Accounting Manager for multinational companies such as Softland, DHL and DIAGEO, supervising different territories including Costa Rica, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Brazil, Chile, and the United States.

Within his professional career, he successfully led the sale process (M&A) of Exactus to the Softland Group, the migration and stabilization of DHL’s business processes in several countries to the Service Center located in Costa Rica, and the management of various process improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies, among others. With DIAGEO, in recent years he led the stabilization and migration of accounting and tax processes from Costa Rica to a Service Center located in Colombia, and developed strategies to maximize the result of the operation using methodologies such as NRM, value chain analysis and M&E tools to maximize ROI.

Juan Ramón obtained his bachelor’s degree with honors in Agricultural Economics from the University of Costa Rica, continuing his studies at the University of Santa Clara in California, where he completed an MBA with an emphasis in Food Industry and Agribusiness, and Finance.

 

ARTURO DELGADO GONZÁLEZ
New Regional Director - Delivery Services

Arturo Delgado González Arturo Delgado González

Another novelty for Novacomp is Arturo Delgado, who assumes the position of Regional Services Delivery Director.

Arturo has more than 20 years of experience in global environments such as Tokyo, London, New York, San Francisco and Costa Rica, working in areas such as: financial asset management, focused on market shares, fixed income indices, creation of ETFs , data modeling, data management, risk management, asset allocation, portfolio accounting, index strategies, and financial risk modeling.

For the past 6 years, Arturo served as Delivery Manager at GFT Technologies, a German consulting firm, and launched Nearshore Agile teams for clients such as the Intercontinental Exchange, Deutsche Bank, KKR, Blackstone, IDS, Cambridge Associates, Broadridge, TPG, El Carlyle Group and BAC Credomatic. Earlier in his career, Arturo worked for BlackRock, Barclays PLC, Morgan Stanley, and MSCI Barra in San Francisco, California, performing various roles in business analysis, project management, and data analysis management.

Arturo obtained his Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Costa Rica. He subsequently completed an MBA in Finance at San Francisco State University and a master’s degree in Information Systems Management at San Francisco University. Additionally, Arturo obtained two certifications at UC Berkeley in Systems Analysis and Software Project Management, and recently completed a specialization in Business Intelligence at the TEC of Costa Rica where he currently works as a Professor for Project Management in Business Analytics.

His responsibility as Regional Services Delivery Director at Novacomp will include the organization of a Global Delivery structure, in order to strengthen a growth base both locally and internationally. Additionally, Arturo will evaluate the use of best practices, tools, processes and reports, in order to achieve full visibility in the contracting, on-boarding, delivery, growth, escalation and customer service processes, amongst others.

"I will also be supporting the Nearshore team to establish relationships with global clients since I have lived in the U.S. and worked with North American clients for the last 19 years. From the creation of RFPs, proposals and business models, to creating stable Nearshore structures, under global delivery standards. In short, automate and digitize the entire Delivery process", added Delgado.

LEITÓN
New Business Development Director-USA

Roberto Leitón Roberto Leitón

Roberto Leitón comes to Novacomp as Business Development Director and will be responsible for developing the US market, designing sales plans and developing new and innovative strategies to market our Digital Transformation services.

With more than 20 years of experience developing international markets, Roberto has been responsible for venturing into markets such as England, the United States and the Nordic countries. He was named C.E.O. from Artinsoft, which involved moving to Seattle, Washington 10 years ago - to lead the penetration of the US market. He later led the commercial area of Mobilize.net at a global level. In addition, he served as Vice President for North America at TimeXtender, the leading company in providing artificial intelligence and data management platforms with Microsoft technologies.

Roberto hold’s a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Finance from Otterbein University in Columbus, Ohio. He also studied at Roehampton College in London and at the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia, USA.

Alejandro Fernández Alejandro Fernández

Alejandro Fernández comes to Novacomp as Business Development Manager for the Latin American region.

Alejandro is a global-minded Sales Executive with 22 years of progressive sales management, territory development, and leadership experience. With a wide array of expertise in Software, Consulting Services, Solution Selling, Artificial Intelligence among others, Alejandro merges smart and aggressive sales leadership with big-picture insight, executive influence, and a commitment to excellence to achieve double-digit growth, nurture strategic partnerships, and take organizations to the next level.

Alejandro spent most of his professional career at Microsoft where he was a key contributor to building the strategic partner channel and transitioning to a cloud business model. He later worked for Cognitiva, where he established the bases of the first Latin American partner program focused on Artificial Intelligence.

Alejandro is certified in Coaching by the International Coach Academy and holds a master’s degree in Group Management from the University for International Cooperation. He also completed a postgraduate degree in comprehensive studies from the School of Organizational Development at Fielding University in Santa Barbara, California, and also has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from the International University of the Americas (UIA) in Costa Rica.

Fernández adds: “I have always been passionate about talent development, understanding the needs of clients and articulating relevant solutions. These three areas are the perfect mix to generate value in the fascinating world of Nearshoring, and Outsourcing, which are the core businesses of Novacomp. I think the current global situation is the ideal context to transform and adapt business to what the normal future will be and accelerate the Digital Transformation that companies will require in a post-pandemic world.”
