Software Technical Architect

Details of the selected job

A software technical architect responsible for building cloud first technical architecture for products. Also provide technical leadership, mentor team of developers, be responsible for building micro-services, data pipelines, Machine Learning as a service platform. And constantly review the code to ensure the quality of the design by avoiding complexity, advocating clarity and to do this with the team. Other important task is the ability to represent an abstract problem in the form of some finite real object of the system, which can be evaluated, designed and developed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or Related field.
  • +10 years' experience.
  • +7 years' experience in the field of Software engineering.
  • +3 years' experience in driving long term engineering and product decisions
  • Building the foundational elements of the product and non-functional requirements
  • Experience working with end users or developer communities.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with all of the following cloud services: Kafka, Spark, Airflow, AWS, GCP or Azure - (AWS preferred).
  • Experience in designing and developing Microservices (Java or Python)
  • Well-Versed with building applications for large scale, auto-scaling environments.
  • Experience on DevOps and applications strategies and practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment
  • Build automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code utilizing tools like Jenkins, Artifactory and Git.
  • AWS/Spark certifications preferred.
  • Some exposure to ETL or BI tools.
  • Experience working with various relational and non-relational, database like Oracle, SQL, Server, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.

  • Evaluating, identifying, and developing software solutions.
  • Locating and directing solutions for critical challenges involving software interface.
  • Looking for problems within software systems and resolving the issues
  • Documenting and recording every aspect of an application or software
  • Choosing the technologies for the implementation of each component and connections between the components.
  • Controlling the architecture during the next iteration of the system release.
